This project aims to question about the dominance of physical form. As a book designer, I've always thought about what kind of things can be overpowering in design. Despite working with physical books, I am also interested in looking beyond their physicality. That's why I chose to use the web to showcase my book design portfolio. It allows me to step away from the physical world and still share my work as a designer.

책이 물리적으로 지배력을 갖고 있다는 사실 알고 있는지요. 저는 최근 물성이 사람들을 끌어들이는 것을 깨달았습니다. 사람들은 책의 물리적인 형태 때문에 책을 사는 경우도 많습니다. (저를 포함해서요) 심지어 이런 책의 정보는 어디서든 널리 알려져 있음에도 말이죠. 저는 물리적인 요소 뒤에 숨겨진 지배력이 흥미가 있었습니다. 이 웹사이트는 제 책 디자인뿐만 아니라 지배로부터의 탈출에 대한 제 고민을 보여줍니다. 그리고 재밌게도 제 개발자로서의 면모를 보여주기도 하네요.
Do you know that books have a physical dominance? I realized that physical materials have an overpowering and attracting effect on people who only buy books for their physical form(including me), even though the book information is published on the Internet. I was interested in the dominance behind the physical aspect. This website shows not only my book designs but also addresses my concerns about escaping from dominance.
